Received the book yesterday. Just finished reading it. Wow wow and more wow! I LOVE everything about it–Richard A. Klein the author’s brilliant, inventive rhyming; his concept and how he executed it; his choice of cover and size of book; and the delightful illustrations by the talented Ariel Coburn! Huge congratulations and great thanks for letting me know about it!

Great Story Accompanied By Delightful Artwork 🙂

The book is on point and friendly. The story definitely will help many children understand and learn about self-love and acceptance and see each person in a positive light. I bought this for my niece and she loved it. The crow is adorable and the illustrations are fun and packed full of wonderful color design. I hope there are more books from this author and illustrator again soon. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Poetry For The Little Reader

I bought this book to give to a young relative, but decided to read it myself first. I found it delightful. The story is written in rhymes, which helps it flow nicely. It’s a good story about a bird which felt inferior, but was informed by its mother about its lofty origins as a winged dinosaur. At the end the crow feels better about itself. The illustrations are fanciful and fun. I am sure my little relative will enjoy it as I did.

Crows Are Amazing Creatures!

A beautiful story with delightful illustrations. A lovely and charming read to our children.

NOW THIS LETTER FROM A UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR AT CHAPEL HILL, NC:

Richard!!!!!!!!

I just got my copy this afternoon, read it 3 times, grabbed my iPad, and have to write you.

This is astonishing!

I love Moe the Crow.

The book takes my breath away.

I can go into detail in a review that I will write about how enchanting it is and how the illustrations are captivating.

But here is what I want you and Arial to know:

I’m immediately ordering two more copies: one to go to my pair of grand girls here in Chapel Hill and one to my grandson and granddaughter in Chicago.

My daughter and her family just returned to their condo in Chicago after spending 4 months at Ravi’s mothers place in rural Pennsylvania.  Since my almost 4-year-old. grandson has returned, he only wants to be read at bedtime an airplane book I gave him in January, which he left back in Chicago when they decamped.  (Honestly, I picked it up in O’Hare Airport on my last trip.) He calls it “Pop-Pop’s Airplane Book” and won’t go to sleep without a reading.

I now have a better book to send him.  I’ll have Laura tell him it is a special book written by Pop-Pop’s very special friend.  I KNOW he is going to love Moe the Crow.  In fact, he actually IS Moe the Crow.

My grand girls here in Chapel Hill are a bit older, the 9-year-old will love the poetry.

The 13-year-old is a budding artist and I also know that she is going to love the enchanting illustrations done by Arial.

You and Arial have done a wonderful thing.

Thank you, thank you, thank you.
